Kaya Kotarski is a violinist and is currently a student at the Norwegian Academy of Music, studying in the solo/chamber masters programme in the class of Kolbjørn Holthe.

In the summer of 2024, she finished her bachelors degree in Music Performance at the Chopin Academy of Music, in Warsaw, Poland.

Kaya started playing the violin when she was seven years old, and has since known that she wants to become a professional musician. During her studies, she was a laureate of several music competitions.

In the future, she hopes to become a member of a permanent string quartet, or a chamber orchestra. She enjoys playing with others, and sharing music with an audience in a group.
