Michael Andreas Grolid (born 1997) is a Norwegian violist and composer. Currently, Michael is the principal violist of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen.

He previously studied at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin under Walter Küssner from the Berlin Philharmonic.

In April 2016, Michael received the Audience Award in NRK’s talent competition Virtuos. He has performed as a soloist with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK), the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and the Oslo Camerata.
