Kristin Pas

Kristin Pas is a Norwegian violist based in Oslo. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo under the guidance of Soon-Mi Chung Barratt-Due.

Kristin is a versatile violist who performs with various orchestras across Norway and Scandinavia. She is currently a member of the Sostenuto Quartet, with whom she won the Midgard Competition in 2022. The quartet is regarded as one of Norway’s most promising young ensembles.

She made her solo debut in 2022 with Young Strings of Norway during their tour across Norway. In addition, she served as principal violist with the ensemble. Kristin is also a participant in Talent Norge’s mentorship programme, Spire, where she has the opportunity to work with some of Norway’s and Europe’s leading musicians.
