Sverre Wyller (b.1953) is a leading Norwegian visual artist who works in an abstract idiom within a number of various mediums and genres, among them painting, graphic art and sculpture. He received his education at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, the Academy of Fine Art in Oslo, and at the University College of the Arts, then in West Berlin. He has lived and worked in New York and Berlin, but now resides in Maridalen in Oslo. Wyller has had numerous exhibitions both at home and abroad and is represented in the collections of Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Malmö Art Museum, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Astrup Fearnley Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo.
