Vårin Lie Rognes (b. 2004) is a violist from Stavanger, where she attended the talent development program “Unge Talenter Bjergsted” (Young Talents Bjergsted). In 2021-2022, she was orchestra-talent with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. Today, she studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Lars Anders Tomter as her teacher. Vårin is an engaged and present musician with a deep passion for chamber music, and she actively works to perform with spark and enthusiasm that both inspires and tells a story.
